Atelier

About

I have always been drawn to sculpture — to the act of shaping matter with my hands, the mark a finger leaves, the life that hides in imperfection.

I came to jewellery through modelling. Each piece begins as a form modelled by hand; through the lost-wax process, its raw texture, its gesture, its deliberate irregularities pass into metal and remain there, held in silver. This collection is my first.

Masks

The eight pieces are inspired by the ritual masks of the Romanian villages — characters like Baba (the Old Woman), Moșul (the Old Man), Capra (the Goat), Ursul (the Bear) — danced from house to house at the turn of the year.

Each piece keeps something specific from its character: a horn, a wrinkle, the edge of a jaw. Cast in fine silver, they become sculptures you can wear close. The collection debuts at Romanian Jewelry Week — some pieces one of a kind, others very limited editions.

The atelier

Every piece is handmade in fine silver 925, in Bucharest, Romania — modelled in wax, cast, finished by hand. Nothing is mechanically reproduced; each piece carries the atelier's mark and an inventory number, and adjustable pieces can be sized to measure. Every message is answered personally.
